My Approach to Qigong

intentional movement that creates body awareness for physical and mental relief.

Qigong is a Chinese movement practice specializing in cultivating your energy (Qi) for wellness, health and longevity. In Qigong, movement practice is called play, the creative and non-judgmental expression of joy and acceptance.

Come with an open mind and desire to listen to your body as you play with connecting mind and body to the world around us.

All Qigong movements can be done standing, modified, or seated in a chair.

No equipment required. No experience required.

All bodies, all abilities welcomed.

Meaningful Bridges Counseling offers Qigong classes for those looking to establish a regular embodied ritual for general physical and mental wellness. We also run somatic practice groups that incorporate yoga, qigong, breathwork to help folks process their trauma where it lives in their bodies so they can lead resilient lives.
